I needed an extraordinary bouquet of flowers for a dear friend and I was told I had many florists to choose from in DC. But I knew they were all wrong. I had only one choice: Volanni! I knew his work not only from different friends but also from my volunteer work at the Smithsonian, specifically the Freer/Sackler museum. Every week Volanni made a beautiful arrangement for them and each was a piece of art. The beautiful bouquet I ordered was not made by a florist, but by an artist. The orchids, the succulents, the many choice of flowers were lovely, exotic, textural and beautifully displayed. It took my breath away. I will order from no other place from now on.
